Editorial policy
Dynamic Film Review aims to make screen craft clear without overstating what a scene or production detail can prove. We value accurate descriptions, independent judgement and honest corrections.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, terminology and factual claims against suitable sources before publication. When a point is interpretive, we present it as a reading rather than a settled fact. Articles should separate what is visible or audible in the work from conclusions about intention, process or meaning. We revise wording when it could mislead or obscure that distinction.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to readers and the subject of screen craft. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, favourable treatment or a particular conclusion. We do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgement.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use the Contact page and identify the article and passage as clearly as possible. We review correction requests and amend confirmed errors, making the change clear where the correction affects a reader's understanding. A difference in interpretation alone is not necessarily a factual error, but we welcome thoughtful questions.
Partner material
Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is identified clearly as partner content or advertising. It is kept distinct from independent editorial work, and labels are placed where readers can see them. Partnerships do not determine the conclusions in editorial articles.
Attention changes what a scene can show.
A film is built from choices, not just plot. Looking closely at one frame, cut or sound can open up the whole scene.
